Fun times for the month of May

It has been a wonderfully busy and happy month filled with fun achievements and great moments with friends. 

At my Wilrose centre, creative energy was flowing with pretty mindful colouring and a beautiful arts and crafts project where stones were carefully glued onto a wooden butterfly mosaic. There was plenty of time for entertainment, including relaxing with some iPad time during My Time and enjoying movie sessions in the warm sensory room while watching The Greatest Showman and Bad Guys 2. My friends & I pitched in with centre care, which included giving the vans a thorough wash.

A lot of dedication goes into practicing the I Dance and I Sing routines in preparation for our performance, alongside rehearsing lines and singing for the upcoming drama show, The Princesses Slumber Party Disaster, where I act the role of Cinderella. 

Connecting out in the community, there were plenty of rewarding adventures, such as volunteering at the SPCA Op shop and visiting Greerton for some fun op shopping and social time with friends. Resources were purchased for the Wilrose centre during a few shopping trips, and there were wonderful opportunities to connect with others while socialising at Morland Fox park and enjoying a lovely hot lunch out at the Citz club with friends from the Connect 20 social group.
